About Tyler

With more than 25 years of fly-fishing experience, Tyler brings a wealth of knowledge from guiding in Patagonia, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and his home waters of Ontario. For the past 15 years, he has been guiding full-time in Southern Ontario, specializing in Steelhead and resident trout drift-boat trips, as well as multi-day adventures on the Grand, Saugeen, and Maitland Rivers.

An expert in both Spey casting and single-hand techniques, Tyler is a dedicated instructor who works with anglers of all skill levels. Whether you’re picking up a fly rod for the first time or looking to take your casting and water-reading abilities to the next level, Tyler provides clear, practical instruction designed to build confidence on the water.

Tyler’s passion for fly fishing has taken him around the world—from Australia and New Zealand to the Caribbean—and he’s always eager to share insights from his global angling experiences.
