Catering to a wide variety of anglers,FLY WATER can provide a myriad of fishing adventures; from hiking into remote Brook Trout streams, or casting from the drift boat to rising Trout on one of our larger rivers, to fly casting instruction and on water lessons, or surface fishing a popper for Small Mouth Bass on a hot summer evening. We will provide a memorable satisfying experience leaving you wanting more!

PERSONAL PROFILE
I have lived and been fishing Southern Ontario rivers since I was five. I draw on extensive experience having lived and guided in various Canadian fly fishing hot spots. I have guided on the Miramichi River in New Brunswick for Atlantic Salmon and in British Columbia for Trout including Vancouver Island Steelhead. As well, I have lived and guided in Argentina & Chile for the famous Patagonian Trout, and Tierra Del Feugo's Sea Run Browns. When not scouting or exploring on the river I spend time spinning flies for the next fishing opportunity. You will find my drift boat handling skills and experience is sure to provide an unforgettable week of fly fishing.
When I am not guiding I enjoy days on the river with my family, including my wife and avid flyfisher, Krista, and our two beautiful daughters. Our love of the outdoors and fly fishing comes through even in the names of our girls. Palena Janet, who is 8, is named for the Rio Palena in Southern Chile, a place of unmatched beauty. Mira River, who is 5, is named for the Miramichi River in New Brunswick, a river both her parents fell in love with. Recently a puppy was added to the family, and not wanting to leave him out, we named him Rio (spanish for river)!
Fly fishing is more than a job or a sport to me, it is a passion. My love (obsession) for it comes through in all the little touches that make my guiding the finest you will encounter. Someday I hope to own and operate my own riverside flyfishing lodge, with the help of my family, I will endeavour to encorporate all the best attributes of the fantastic places I have been priveledged to work, creating the best fly fishing destination Southern Ontario has to offer.
